The GWAB 300 hydraulic active brake is mainly used for braking the high-speed shaft in wind turbines. It can also be applied for mechanical braking or deceleration in various machinery across industries such as lifting and transportation, port handling, cable systems, and hoisting equipment.
It features a floating installation design.
A normally open design, where the hydraulic station drives the braking, ensuring fast, safe, and reliable operation.
The high-performance friction material has excellent temperature resistance (up to 800~900°C) and maintains a stable friction coefficient.
With a small braking clearance and short reaction time, the brake engages more quickly.
The friction plates have a movable end plate structure, allowing for easy replacement without disassembling the brake.
Its simple structure ensures easy installation and maintenance.
Ambient Temperature - Normal type: -20°C to +50°C - Low temperature type: -40°C to +50°C
The hydraulic oil for the low-temperature type brake should operate normally in low-temperature environments.
There should be no flammable or explosive gases and media in the surrounding working environment.
The relative humidity of the air should not exceed 95%.
For outdoor environments exposed to rain, snow, or corrosive gases and media, anti-corrosion products should be used.
Minimum disc diameter >= 500mm.
